Tip 1- Swim between the Red and Yellow Flags
ALWAYS SWIM BETWEEN THE RED AND YELLOW FLAGS. It is the safest part on the beach, and you are in the view of the lifeguards.
Tip 2- Assess the conditions
Before you go in the water, assess the your surroundings; is it windy, are there large waves etc.
DO NOT GO IN THE WATER IF THE CONDITIONS ARE NOT IN YOUR FAVOUR

Tip 3- Swim in well light areas
Always swim in well lit areas as you can be sea better
Tip 4- Swim with Someone Else
Always swim with a friend in case you get in trouble. Your survival rate is a lot higher if you are in trouble and you are swimming with someone.
